?an other year?

Journal Entry: Tue Jan 22, 2008, 2:37 AM
how the times fly.
well... i have a few pictures of graf works i should post at some point. i really like working on trains, but right now the season is much too cold for that sort of thing... and i must be extra caution when engaging in such activities. it scares me a bit.
one of my orginal hopes of my grafitti side-project was to gain skills i could take back with me to more traditional forms of painting. i found out that graf is really more like than drawing than painting... and that my drawing skills still need alot of development (no real formal training in the medium) ... that's not to say there isn't painting in graffiti, there is... but its... different. i'm still expirementing with a more expressionistic-impressionistic style of graf, since it relates more directly to my painting skills.. but admittedly, i havent worked on it and i need more practice. spraypaint is a fickle medium
and so, i returneth to the world of oils. had some extra time and a build-up of creative energy... and finally got some painting done. trying to push my game to the next level... trying to get better, more sophisticated, more diverse. painting is (and isn't) a competative sport, but its not so much 'me vs. the world' as 'me vs. the potential beneath'.
working on trying to layer imagery. will post results soon.

Liked the abstract pieces in your gallery but didn't have much to say really so I'd leave that here.

HaHa...

i've recived your message, and yes next friday will be rather intersting. I'm going to be preforming at a drumming concert, and then partying my hearts content out. However, if you're down, i've been looking forward to our next meeting so things can be arranged. This is the state you know. well, good tidings and evening, hope to hear from you soon.

How strange it is to be awakened these few insightful moments, and come to find that you mind has already been raped by a god.
